Manager-Financial Institutions

The Financial Institutions practice of Virchow Krause & Company, LLP provides audit, accounting, and specialized services such as interest rate risk analysis and internal audit to over 120 financial institutions, principally in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and Minnesota; the client base includes de novo institutions through multi-bank holding companies with assets in excess of $25 billion; both publicly and non-publicly traded.

Responsibilities:
As a Manager in the Financial Institutions Group, you will find an exceptional opportunity to develop professionally through exposure to all facets -planning, compliance, research, and business development—of our diverse and expanding practice.
 
-Assist in developing and maintaining quality staff.
-Maintain positive relationships with key business contacts and actively develop new contacts..
-Promote efficiencies through planning and act as a liaison between the client and partner.

-Keep up to date on current laws and practices (GAAP/FASB).
-Perform technical research on accounting issues and transactions specific to the banking industry.

Qualifications:
-CPA
-Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
-At least 5 years experience in auditing and banking. 
-Excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize, attention to detail, and competent technical skills.
