Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Aleris is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Anlaysis to join the team at our Corporate Offices in Beachwood, OH. This indvidiual will be responsible for development of the annual budget and quarterly forecast updates, reporting and variance analysis of monthly and quarterly results, strategic scenario planning, profitability analysis and other business analysis.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 Manage and mentor FP&A analyst(s)Manage and assist in monthly and quarterly reporting, analysis and forecasting for all business unitsPartner with Business Units in bottoms-up development of the annual expense budget, resource planning analysis, and quarterly forecast updatesIdentify areas for improvement in our planning process, automation and profitability analysisPerform consolidated company modeling of Financial StatementsPerform and direct executive level ad hoc financial analysis as requiredDevelopment, refinement and maintenance of 3-5 year strategic plan

 

Requirements Include:

· Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting

· MBA and/or CPA preferred

· 7-10 years experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, management preferred

· Strong project management skills, teamwork, problem solving and creativity

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to meet tight deadlines and effectively multi-task priorities

· Strong skills in Microsoft Office systems

· Experience with Lotus Notes, Oracle and Hyperion preferred

· Ability to travel approximately 15-30%, both domestic and international
