Job Duties:

 

Overall Responsibility: Preparation of quarterly cash flow statement and balance sheet analysis and collection and reporting of restructuring reserves and other supplemental financial information as well as ensure the proper reporting of acquisitions and divestitures within the close process.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

Supervise a staff of three finance professionals in the following tasks:preparation of quarterly cash flow statement reported in the Forms 10Q and 10K filed with the Securities Exchange Commissioncollection and reporting of restructuring reserve informationOther financial disclosure and financial analytical activities

Lead a team of finance professionals in the preparation of the quarterly balance sheet analysis

Prepare other supplemental financial information and analyses for financial statement footnote disclosure

Develop and implement procedures to maximize the efficiency of the financial consolidation system and related processes

Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and seminars

Assist in the monthly financial closing process

Special projects requiring analytical skills and creativity.

Maintain and document financial controls in accordance with requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Position based in NYC

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting a plus
CPA
8+ years relevant work experience, Pharma experience considered a plus

Strong oral and written communication skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management

Prior Consolidation experience desirable

Working knowledge of the Hyperion suite of software products considered a plus
