Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis

Responsibilities Coordinate accurate and timely completion and filing of required external financial reports including: Quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) financial reports, including MD&A Quarterly financial tests under loan agreements with financial institutions Periodic reports to government agencies Design, implement and maintain disclosure controls and procedures, including reviewing workpapers, maintaining supporting schedules and completing disclosure checklists Ensure financial statements are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial statement disclosure requirements and internal accounting policies and procedures Develop executive level quarterly and annual reporting package for communication to board of directors, audit committee, external auditors and executive management Develop and implement corporate-wide accounting policies, procedures and controls, including the following: Accounting policies Corporate controllers manual General ledger account governance (classification, reconciliation, analysis etc.) Keep current on evolving accounting issues and financial reporting requirements, and research complex and/or new transactions (e.g., new or revised contracts, terms of new customer arrangements, new revenue streams) Determine implications on internal financial operations and external financial reporting Educate management on accounting and reporting requirements and implications to ensure understanding and compliance Coordinate and manage quarterly review and annual audit process with external audit firm Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting CPA or CMA certification 5 or more years of progressively responsible public accounting or Fortune 500 financial accounting and reporting experience SEC reporting experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical and organizational skills Demonstrated talent management and development experience Strong ability to read and interpret GAAP and technical literature
