Manager, Procurement & Contracts

Pinnacle Health System, Central Pennsylvania's leader in health care, is seeking a Manager of Procurement & Contracts to join its supply chain management team!

Responsibilities:

-Annual purchases of over $100M in supplies, $50M in purchased services and $40M in capital equipment.
-Centralized procurement & contract functions for the entire health system, including 4 hospital campuses, multiple outpatient/primary care facilities, and imaging centers, Homecare and Hospice.
-Department use of both Novation GPO contracts as well as formal RFP process for locally negotiated IDN contracts.
-Active participant in Value Analysis, standardization and Six Sigma processes.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree with a business emphasis (master’s degree preferred) and 3 to 5 years of progressively more responsible purchasing and contracting experience.

-Certification as a Materials & Resource Professional or Purchasing Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Supply Chain Management as well as a minimum of 5 years of health care purchasing experience will also meet the minimum requirements.

-Knowledge of contracting processes and the Uniform Commercial code is essential.

-Membership in either AHRMM or ISM is preferred.

-Hospital based purchasing experience is highly preferred.
