POSITION SUMMARY:
Financial liason for SVP of Marketing/Advertising. Provides financial leadership as a key business partner of Marketing/Advertising Department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Preparing annual marketing budget and Period forecasts. Able to lead/drive marketing lead team on accountability for cost controls and reductions. Ensure proper controls are in place for accurate accounting and reporting of Marketing/Advertising expense and income. Lead on SOX compliance. Participate in proactive planning with Sr. Director of Production and Planning Lead business planning for ROI on expenditure Set metrics with leads for tracking programs to enable analytics on ROI, pre-planned and post follow up for performance. Focused on cost and able to identify opportunities Able to participate in an proactive role with key vendors for cost/value opportunities Review financial performance by period with the team, including analysis of projects/programs (eg., puts and takes, wins and losses)
SPECIAL SKILLS, TRAINING, OR EXPERIENCE:· College graduate, BS in Finance/Accounting preferred.
· 5 Years office experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably in Marketing/Advertising role.
· Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Oracle
