PetSmart is an Equal Opportunity EmployerWith many positions offering relocation packages, learn more about Life in Phoenix The Manager of Management Reporting is responsible for formulating, defining and implementing a governance process for internal corporate reporting in order to enable effective decision-making. This position will work closely with business units to develop dashboards and determine critical performance metrics, and will work closely with the Business Intelligence data management team to ensure efficient and effective report development and delivery. - Assist in the advancement of the Company's reporting strategy including developing a governance process and implementing improvements to standard reports, dashboards, ad hoc reports and overall information dissemination. - Determine appropriate measures and associated metrics for reporting, and subsequently coordinate metrics collection, analysis, documentation, and communication to stakeholders. - Synthesize individual analyses into a corporate perspective by reviewing across-measures and looking for linkages. - Understand source data and data flow to enable more effective reporting and information dissemination. - Collaborate with Business Intelligence team to ensure efficient report development and execution. - Produce and present information to senior leadership, as required. - Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, and manage stakeholder expectations. - Leverage offshore/external vendors where appropriate. International travel may be required. - Promote teamwork; coach and guide others.  RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA preferred. Five to seven plus years experience in role or similar/closely related work. - Advanced PC application skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and knowledge of reporting tools, including MicroStrategy. - Experience in developing complex financial models and databases for the capture, assembly, analysis and presentation of metrics. - Strong systems background and understanding of technical systems and database management. - Ability to distill large amounts of information into management reports. - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work with all levels of clients and internal management. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain measurement and metrics to diverse stakeholders. - Ability to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Strong negotiating skills.  To apply for this position please visit our website; http://www.resumeware.net/petsmart_rw/petsmart_web/content.cfm?page=resume_new_web&rType=External&reqnum=19003&from=website&include_rb=0
