Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  JE-32030-507120 Location:  Uniondale, NY 11555 Job Status:  Full Time, Employee JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for accounting staff of 4 (hiring, training, performance evaluations, etc.) Compilation and verification of data for the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements Coordinate and assist other departments in the recording of financial transactions. Assist with and coordinate special reporting to Parent Company. Preparation of quarterly financial information for the Board of Directors. Reconcile, review and issue monthly and Integrated Profit & Loss Statements. Preparation of 401k and Profit Sharing Plans financial statements and accompanying notes. Resolve accounting problems and/or questions by applying accounting principles. Preparation of annual report. Research and analyze complex or unusual financial transactions and new accounting pronouncements. Review of accounts receivable finalizations. Preparation of annual budget and analysis of budget variances. Recommend improvements and increase efficiencies. Assist internal and external auditors. Special projects. Coordinate completion of various governmental agency reports Review of bank reconciliations. Participate in the development or modification of financial systems, procedures or reports. BA in accounting required, CPA a huge plus.
