We are currently seeking a Managing Consultant for our Disputes & Investigations practice in the Philadelphia office. ABOUT THE PRACTICE: DISPUTESDisputes are a fact of life in business today. The result is a unique resource unparalleled in preventing, detecting, and investigating risks and threats to people, companies, premises, and assets.OUR OPPORTUNITY:We are seeking a professional with 5+ years of public accounting, internal audit, litigation consulting, and/or investigative consulting experience, outstanding technical accounting and/or analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. A candidate who meets our minimum criteria will have the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements that leverage and build upon their capabilities and skills in a dynamic, professional consulting environment. A sample of diverse consulting engagements include: forensic accounting and whistleblower investigations, consulting on complex accounting and financial reporting matters, mergers and acquisitions due diligence and purchase price disputes, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, business process reviews and risk assessments, government contracting, regulatory compliance and litigation support. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform and supervise detailed fact finding, research and analysis - Direct and develop computer models including detailed and potentially complex spreadsheet analysis - Supervise and conduct data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities - Supervise appropriate personnel including Consultants, Senior Consultants, client personnel, administrative support, and others - Responsibility for engagement planning - Prepare client communications for senior level review - Coordinate administrative functions including time tracking and bill preparation - Act as a mentor to Consultants and Senior Consultants BASIC REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years experience in public accounting, internal audit, litigation consulting, or investigative consulting - Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline, preferably Accounting, Finance, or Economics - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities - Effective oral and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills - Strong project and people management skills - Pro-active, self-motivated, and dependable Click here to apply via the Navigant Consulting Career Opportunity Portal The company offers competitive compensation packages including an incentive compensation plan, comprehensive medical/dental/life insurance, 401(k) and an employee stock purchase plan.
