Managing Director - Financial Restructuring

Global Business Advisory firm that has offered financial advisory services to some of the largest U.S. Corporations is currently seeking a Managing Director for their Financial Restructuring Division. The firm has managed hundreds of engagements in a variety of industries representing some of the largest bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings to date.  Due to recent high-visibility Debtor and Creditor engagements, company has immediate needs.  Company growth into additional advisory services offering pre-emptive bankruptcy advise, operational turnaround and interim management offers long term opportunities in consultancy for corporate strategy and growth.

Requirements: • Experience restructuring financially distressed companies or related senior level financial experience preferred. • Minimum of 7 - 10 years within accounting/finance or restructuring field • Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance • Master’s Degree, CPA, CTP or CIRA preferred •  Knowledge of corporate bankruptcy processes and procedures a plus • Strong relationships and business development within legal and banking communities Excellent project management skills and proven capabilities in managing a team • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles and expertise within the field of restructuring • Self-starter with the ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment • Superior interpersonal, communication, sales and organizational skills • Proficiency with PC environment and related software, preferably Microsoft Office and various financial research tools • Ability to travel 80% - 90% • Leadership and management skills. Desired: • Master’s Degree, CPA, CTP or CIRA preferredCompensation: Dependent on Experience. Strong and competitive bonus structure.
