Marketing Communications Copywriter

Overview:  

   

The marketing communications copywriter is a creative member of LarsonAllen’s marketing group, contributing ideas and writing to promote our firm. The marketing communications copywriter reports to the director of marketing.

 

Responsibilities:

Write, interview, research, and edit for all aspects of marketing communications, including:

 

§ News releases/public relations/articles

§ Web site/intranet

§ Brochures/sell sheets

§ Newsletters/magazine

§ Advertising

§ Direct mail/email marketing

§ Invitations/seminars

§ White papers/research projects

§ Video/multi-media

§ Other projects as needed

 

 

Required Education and/or Experience:

  4-year degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field2-3 years of experience in communicationsProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAdobe Creative Suite software experience a plusBasic knowledge of HTML a plus, but not requiredProven copywriting experience Journalistic mindsetStrong project management skillsStrong communications skillsHigh aptitude with technologyAbility to prioritize projects and organize work day effectivelyHigh degree of creativity and originalityForward-thinking with meaningful ideasWide range of writing stylesAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining a professional mannerA team spirit and the ability to work well with marketers, designers, and art directors
