Marketing - Field Marketing - Senior Associate
Marketing Senior Associate To execute integrated marketing initiatives that drive the acquisition of new clients, brand awareness, and growth. Primary duties: Assists Carolinas Director of Marketing in the Carolinas-wide implementation of marketing and sales plans. Monitors and tracks progress against plan and budget. Takes primary responsibility for several industry and service line teams, handling research, facilitating discussion on new business development, plus handling targeting, events, collateral, thought leadership, proposals, etc.Plans and coordinates Carolinas-wide seminars and events. Duties include writing invitation copy, coordinating design, printing, and mailing of invitations, managing hotel vendors, hosting on-site registration. Helps choose speaker, sponsorship partners, and coordinates preparation.Develops proposals and manages the proposal process. Will work closely with partners and managers to identify theme and content, writing and editing copy.Based on knowledge of firm’s key assurance, tax, and business advisory services, recommends and implements direct mail campaigns, seminars, and other lead generation programs.Develops target lists and associated targeting initiatives. Works closely with Business Development Executives (BDEs) to ensure effective follow-up of marketing programs and tracking of opportunities.Coordinates public relations by initiating relationships with local news media and developing/editing and distributing press releases. Pitches story ideas to local press.Champions firm-wide brand identity and design standards by applying brand standards to all presentations, collateral, and proposals. Within team, may write and design local collateral.Serves on regional or national taskforces or special projects.Job dimensions: Works independently and proactively, takes ownership of projects, exercises creativity, manages multiple vendor relationships. Working relationships: Interacts with national, industry, service-line, regional and local marketing and sales team members to: - receive direction and guidance from marketing and sales leadership in the performance of responsibilities.- share and receive advice and feedback on marketing ideas and best practices.- share and access resources and information.Interacts with Partners, Senior Managers, Managers and BDEs to: - produce winning proposals and presentations.- advise and support them in increasing the acquisition of new clients, and new assignments with current clients.- solicit their input to develop and implement new marketing programs.
