Medical Accounts Receivable Manager Needed Here in Boynton Beach!

 

 

The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for coordinating the day to day activities required to properly bill, collect and report  to all of the companies divisions. 

 

 

II. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESContributes to the creation of a positive and pleasant working environment.Implements all projects of the VP, Finance to ensure an efficient and high quality operation as defined by the VP, Finance.Consults with the VP, Finance and the Controller, Managed Care on matters pertaining to efficient operations.

FUNCTIONS

·  Supervises the Enrollment Specialists.

·  Answers the procedural questions of the A/R staff concerning database, accounting or other office issues.

·  Coordinates with clinical and administrative staff outside the accounting department to bill all services provided in a timely manner.

·  Reviews A/R aging reports for all locations and payer sources at least monthly. Insures that collections activities are performed as necessary to obtain payment for services rendered.  Alerts the VP, Finance and administrators when payments are not received as services are provided.

·  Provides the Controller, Managed Care with monthly revenue and A/R amounts to be booked for all locations.

·  Supplies reports to management as requested.

·  Reports any issues or concerns to the VP, Finance.

·  Maintains a professional attitude towards fellow staff members and outside provider personnel at all times.

·  Performs other duties as requested by the VP, Finance or other management.

  Must have strong Excel Skills, Medicare, Medicaid in a Healthcare environment.
