Medical Cash Posting Specialist

 

The Cash Posting Specialist will be responsible for handling the cash postings for a growing medical facility and handling patient inquiries regarding benefits. The position is located in Bolingbrook, IL.  

 

Responsibilities

 Accurately process and post to the Medical Manager System pre-approved account Adjustment Requests. Properly complete the Accounts Payable (A/P) Voucher Form for submitted refund requests and forward to the proper management for approval. After all approvals are obtained, this candidate is also responsible for mailing refund request packets to the proper Business Unit personnel for processing and issuing of refund checks.

 

RequirementsAt least 1 year of experience in cash postingsStrong communication skills; written and oral.Strong organizational skills Experience with explaining benefits to patients is preferred
