Mergers & Acquisitions Manager ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and summarize the profitability of proposed acquisitions.Prepare and analyze complex financial models. Identify and analyze costs associated with the acquisitions.Assist in the evaluation of financing requests.Prepare and review income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows in compliance with US GAAP. Prepare and analyze budgets.Deliver recommendations on performance improvements.
Essential Mergers & Acquisitions Manager Skills & Characteristics Knowledge of financial modeling techniques, accounting concepts and budgeting techniquesSound business judgment and strong leadership qualities7-10 years experience in either a Big 4, or a Fortune 500 environmentStrong knowledge in accounting, preferably Accounting degreedHands-on financial analysis experience with strong financial modeling skills and exposure to senior management
