Mergers and Acquisitions Accounting CPA

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures accounting including due diligence, contract review, purchase accounting and ongoing analysis. Other functions will include accounting for senior debt as well as ad hoc projects and research.


Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent required, Masters degree preferred. CPA license required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years experience, minimum 4 years progressive accounting experience. Experience with accounting for acquisitions, accounting for derivatives contracts and general contract review a plus. Minimum 3 years advanced computer software skills needed including Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint; experience with SAP preferred. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously a must.
