Newly created position - Senior Accounting Manager / Foundation Builder!

They design and manufacture a high technology product, and they are considered an industry leader. With tremendous growth over the past several years, and with an expected doubling of revenues in the next four years, they have decided to add to their Accounting Department staff and hire a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee a staff of two and report to a Chief Financial Officer. So let's talk about the exciting aspects of this position! In addition to month end reporting responsibilities, this person will be responsible for the following:* Implementing a brand new budget program including one to three year pro formas and compiling the related budget to actual reports.* Obtaining an understanding of cash flow management practices.* Preparing work papers to used by the external auditing and tax firms in order to lower professional service fees now being incurred.* Assisting in the implementation of SAP.* Taking a fresh look at the overall 'way of doing things' within the Accounting Department and recommending areas for improvement.Qualified professionals will possess at least five years of general accounting experience including a proven track record of supervising, a four year degree in accounting, experience interacting with external auditors, and a positive attitude! Some international travel may be required (don't worry, it is a very nice location!). Candidates possessing an advanced degree are preferred.
