OIL & GAS CONTROLLER Dallas, Texas

Salary, Bonus and Stock Options Commensurate with Skills and ExperienceRapidly growing Dallas based oil and gas E&P company is seeking a Controller.  Candidates should have a broad range of experience and skills.

Responsibilities:

·  Maintain general ledger.

·  Monthly closings.

·  Supervise joint interest billing and royalty distribution.

·  Manage payroll.

·  Over-site of day-to-day corporate accounting function.

 
Candidate Requirements:

·  Bachelors Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.

·  5+ years management experience in oil & gas accounting.  Strong background in general ledger, financial and GAAP accounting practices.

·  Big 6 experience preferred.

·  Excellent communication and computer skills.

·  Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.

·  Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel.  Familiarity with financial modeling and projections.
