Oracle Financial Applications Manager
We have an opening in our Conshohocken, PA office for an Oracle Financial Applications Functional Manager.  We are looking for candidates in the Delaware Valley area (PA/DE/NJ) as there is no relocation assistance available for this position.

Reports to: Director, Oracle Applications and Financial Systems

Background

This functional position is in the Oracle IT group of a manufacturing company.  The group includes four IT analysts to support 200 users, 12 applications, and 15 locations.  The company outsources system maintenance to an ASP.

Overview

Responsible for identifying and recommending Oracle ERP financial solutions based on understanding of financial processes, reporting requirements and Oracle offerings.  Responsible for managing implementation of solutions with financial and other users.  Must be a hands-on manager who can configure applications, document options, and troubleshoot problems.

Job TasksRecommends Oracle solutions to financial issues. Leads Oracle projects to extend the use of existing applications. Provides support to Oracle applications users with emphasis on financial applications.  Assesses support needs and determines the most cost effective way to provide support. Manages the process of introducing, designing, testing, and maintaining customizations. Works with the Oracle group and ASP vendor to maintain the Oracle environment. Tests applications and customizations during changes, upgrades, and disaster recovery tests. Ensures that documentation and training related to Oracle financial applications are in place.

Job QualificationsBS in business or related field Minimum of 3 years experience with Oracle financial applications Demonstrated project management skills Understanding of complex relational data models Ability to understand and communicate business processes Effectiveness working in teams Ability to travel 10%
