Office Manager/ Accounting Manager

A 50-person reputable engineering/management consulting company located in Irvine, Orange County, California is looking for an experienced office manager/ accounting manager.  Candidate must be self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills. A business or accounting degree is required with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.  Close proximity to Irvine is a plus.    Must have strong experience in the following duties/responsibilities:

  Manage day to day office procedures Supervise administration and accounting staff Maintain authority over office related vendors – purchasing General office duties Perform HR duties Work closely with principals and other employees Experience in financial accounting and management MS Office and accounting packages including Excel, Word and QuickBooks Accounts receivable and accounts payable Payroll Preparation of monthly invoicing Collection duties including follow-up with aging account receivables  Project accounting and budget/fee tracking Reconciliations and bookkeeping Purchasing and tracking procedures and implementation Communicating with Firm CPA outside consultant and assisting with quarterly corporate tax preparation

 

This is a long-term position which is available immediately.
