Job Purpose:


Incumbent verifies delivery records of drivers, receives and deposits funds, and verifys accuracy of inventory movement for each route.



Duties:

* Acts as support person to Sales, Delivery and other administrative units, including possibility of assuming additional managerial responsibilities.


* Primary function is to check in delivery personnel after they have completed their daily delivery function. This includes handling large amounts of cash, detailed completion of specific and exacting check in processes.
* Hours shift slightly during the week, but generally are from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional overtime.


Skills/Qualifications:

 

Successful candidates will possess strong knowledge of all office software applications including Excel and Word


Position interacts extensively with our mainframe computer which is UNIX based, and networked through Windows Desktop functions.

 

Successful applicant will be obsessively accurate because of the volume and detail of data entry required.

 

Ideal personality traits include a friendly outgoing personality,  a team player attitude, and absence of any territoriality traits.

 

Technical training beyond high school is a plus, but experience and maturity is more important.

A complete criminal and background check will be performed as a condition of employment, as well as a drug screen and physical exam. Scrupulous integrity and honesty is demanded.

This position interacts extensively with blue collar personnel, and therefore requires patience and the ability to teach rudimentary math skills.
