Responsible for assisting in ensuring compliance with regard to policies, procedures, and standards for financial centers within assigned group Assists in supporting financial centers to reduce losses, fraud, and improve operations generally through field visits and workshops Researches and resolves complex branch problems related to cash management operations, customer inquires and, as assigned regarding established policies and procedures Three to five years' experience in consumer banking operations and compliance, or management Strong interpersonal skills-able to establish effective work relationships according to requirements of position Strong oral and written communication skills-including group presentation skills Strong coaching/training skills-able to evaluate staff skill levels against department standards and to conduct or review performance and provide remedial training Strong research/analytic/problem solving skills-able to research and resolve complex branch or department problems Proficient PC skills Washington Mutual is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
