Oracle Functional Analyst

ABOUT OUR CLIENT- Large oil & gas services company- Located in West HoustonREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- 2 to 4 years of experience with implementing Oracle applications, particularly financial modules such as * Accounts Receivable* Credit/Collections - 2+ Implementations (small implementations – okay)- Two to four years experience in software support/maintenance - Must be knowledgeable in all Windows operating systems and program editors- Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and planning skills PREFFERED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- Consulting experience- Bilingual (Spanish/English)EDUCATIONAL & CERTIFICATION BACKGROUND- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in computer software or related technical field JOB DUTIES- Develop business requirements and processes in support of all implementations of Oracle and non-Oracle applications- Develop and execute plans for deploying Oracle and non-Oracle applications into production - Participate in testing and testing activities - Evaluate user proficiency and define training requirements to raise the level of proficiency of the users - Provide guidance and support the users in their efforts to become proficient in the use of Oracle and non-Oracle applications - Provide documentation related to issue resolution and testing -Develop and send communications to customers related to issueresolution, application modifications, application maturity, projects,etc. - Take initial service calls - Resolve and track daily issues related to Oracle Financials and other business applications - Troubleshoot issues in the use and functioning of the Oracle and non-Oracle applications - Work with technical developers and database administrators to correct issues in the functioning of the applications - Participate in projects and initiatives as a project resource - Identify and resolve project issues in furtherance of the project execution process
