Dynamic opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional who is looking for a company to call "home"! This position will interface with both our Human Resources and Accounting departments. 

In addition to possessing knowledge of Payroll processes and procedures, we are seeking someone who is well versed in CA & Federal Labor/Wage Laws, benefits administration and accounting functions.   

Responsibilities:Payroll & benefits administration and processing for exempt and non-exempt employeesHandle all wage garnishments, 401K, health/DI insuranceAudit hours worked by employeesMonthly preparation of journal entriesAccount reconciliation of the payroll accountProcess payroll accrualsResolve all payroll related issues and questions in a timely mannerAccurately posting payroll to the general ledgerVerifiy hourly wagesPreparation of EDD reportsProcess and distribute bonusesMaintain all employee benefit filesObtain knowledge of company HR policies and proceduresAssist Controller with special projectsProcess new enrollments for benefits and 401K

 

Requirements:Minimum of 5 years experience in a Payroll functionKnowledge of CA Wage/Labor LawsAdvanced level of proficiency with MS Office SuiteCPP and/or Payroll Certificate preferredAccounting courses taken, Bachelor's Degree preferredAdvanced knowledge of Federal and State Employment and Wage laws
