PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTING OFFICER

IBERIABANK Corporation, a $5.1 billion asset financial holding company headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional for the position of Principal Accounting Officer/Corporate Controller.  The Principal Accounting Officer manages and oversees the corporation's Financial, Accounting Operations and Purchasing Departments.

Responsibilities include:  directing the preparation of the financial statements, maintaining the accounting principles, practices and procedures, and overseeing the preparation of SEC filings for the organization.  Additionally, the position directly supervises the corporations Controllers and actively participates in merger and acquisition activities.

Requires a BA/BS in accounting, finance, or related field and CPA license; minimum ten years experience in accounting, preferably in the banking or financial institution industry; recent experience with SEC accounting; Strong attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups; Must be a self-motivated team leader.
