Payroll Assistant

Title: Payroll Assistant

Location: Bethesda, MD, at Bethesda Metro

Duties:
• Assists with semi-monthly payroll processing for over 600 employees utilizing Deltek Costpoint and Time Collection
• Update and maintain payroll files and databases to reflect personnel payroll changes, corrections and edits
• Respond to and assist employees with payroll questions and concerns in a timely and accurate manner with a superior customer service attitude
• Assist with reporting and reviewing tasks including payroll edit reviews and backup reporting responsibilities
• Additional duties supporting the finance department as assigned

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and government contracting experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Payroll tax experience highly preferred
• Deltek Costpoint experience highly preferred
• One (1) year relevant payroll experience required
