Job Description Payroll/Benefit Specialist- (SFATL)-34307  Our client is currently seeking a temporary Payroll/Benefit Specialist with more than 3 years of experience to join their team. Responsibilities:  Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing of 200+ employees on Pro Business (semi-monthly payroll for exempt employees) and international payrolls, including Canada and Mexico using 3rd party providers. Process data entry of new hires, terminations, leave of absence, and compensation changes. Process manual adjustments and checks for special pays, etc. Benefits administration and answers human resource related questions. Prepare final check calculations for terminated employees based on state by state regulations for terminations.   Reconcile 401(k) and ISO/NSO withholding to amounts remitted. Coordinate with various departments such as HR and Benefits for the accuracy of payroll processing and payroll records. Research and respond to notices received from federal and state taxing authorities. Organize and maintain all payroll records.  Requirements:  Over 3 years of previous payroll related experience. Must have strong organizational skills. Must be able to work independently.
