PAYROLL MANAGER

Job Description:

W.B. Mason Co., Inc. is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Payroll Department as a Payroll Manager.  The Payroll Manager will supervise the weekly payroll process for over 1500 employees in a multi-state environment.

·  Ensures that all employees are paid accurately, on time and in accordance with the IRS regulations, state regulations and company policies and procedures.

·  Reviews and monitors the accuracy of payroll activity.

·  Manages relationship with outsource vendor ADP.

·  Audits all quarterly and annual company wide payroll taxes to confirm all are reported and deposited in an accurate and timely manner. Process all company wide W-2’s.

·  Responsible for the complete payroll cycle including preparation, submission to ADP, reviews reports for accuracy, distribution to supervisors, preparation of journal entries for actual expenses and accruals and related account reconciliations.

·  Creates Reportsmith custom templates and supports Accounting and Human Resources with all payroll related report requests.

Job Requirements:

·  BS/BA in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.

·  ADP, PCPW Experience, including ADP pay data file import structure.

·  Certification in ADP Reportsmith v5.1 preferred.

·  Minimum of 5 years in payroll processing experience preferred.

·  Outstanding communication and organizational skills.

·  Superior time management skills.

·  Strong knowledge of Excel.
