Payroll Manager - International Company!
Payroll Supervisor
Supervise daily activities of department Compliance with SOX and company policies & procedures Review and assist with Payroll Coordinators responsibilities (input, output & auditing) Review and assist with Payroll Scheduler responsibilities (system processing, month end accounting, banking, account reconciliations) Ongoing training and cross-training according to needs Annual staff performance review
Analyze and implement error corrections or policy and procedure changes Recommend and implement new or changed processes based on legal requirements or system corrections Analyze impacts and mitigation of policy changes or process timing changes Analyze errors & provide assistance in correct data processing for time, payroll & related benefit transactions Effectively communicate with and assist all US payroll coordinators and various department nontechnical end users Effectively communicate with ITD technical support
Payroll process Technical review and analysis of data, processes and timing Mass change assistance to Compensation & HR Special pays (IC,Deferral, Relocation, Expat, Inpat, Tax grossups)
Reporting & Testing Expat and Inpat data collection, categorization & summary reporting for external tax review Analyze data needs and design SAP reports from master data fields or payroll background tables as needed SAP upgrades and year end tax compliance for W-2 reporting SAP enhancements and process corrections Bottom line print changes for pay advice and W-2 forms
SKILLS REQUIRED: Analysis, prioritization and communication of departmental requirements to meet all deadlines Organizational ability to interrupt & reprioritize duties as needed Verbal & written communication skills to bridge non-technical to technical users, clearly document issues, and development of written policy & procedures Accounting background to create and communicate monthly journals for overhead expense, liabilities, reserves, timely account reconciliations, and analytical research Excel proficiency for auditing, combining report sources, summarizing presentation
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor degree in Accounting Supervision experience System and procedural training System analysis for problem resolution Accounting – creation of journal entries, compilation of Income Statement and Balance Sheet SAP Payroll experience a benefit
