Job Summary: The Payroll Manager is responsible for all payroll functions for a multi-state company, ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll for all employees in the United States.  Responsibilities include the management and coordination of payroll processing, payroll taxes, employee payroll deductions, and the processing of time records, maintenance of payroll control records and calculation of payroll. Works closely at a peer level with Accounting, Human Resources and Information Technology. Duties and Responsibilities: ·  Oversees and administers all payroll functions. ·  Oversees the reconciliation of Paid Time Off (“PTO”) balances and the preparation of accruals. ·  Assists employees and others as needed related to payroll issues. ·  Interfaces with and manages the relationship with the payroll processing vendor. ·  Directs the computation of pay in accordance with Firm guidelines, reviewing and approving all payroll deductions, reviewing and validating all payrolls and ensuring all necessary corrections are made. ·  Researches and interprets government regulations affecting payroll procedures. ·  Oversees the review and audit of hourly timesheets. ·  Reviews and approves payroll deductions and corrects discrepancies as needed. ·  Reviews all tax filing reports, 941's, 940's, SUI, and FUTA filings as well as internal reports. ·  Creates, reviews and audits monthly bonus schedule in accordance with Firm policy. ·  Oversees the administration of the Corporate Credit Card program. ·  Oversees the administration of salary bridge adjustments and recovery of early bonus payments. ·  Creates compensation ad-hoc reports as needed. ·  Assists with the workers' compensation and 401(k) audits as needed.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent with six to eight years related payroll experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior international payroll experience and experience with payroll systems implementation preferred.
