Position:  Payroll Specialist/Full-Charge Bookkeeper

 

Salary:  $34k - $45k, DOE

Are you an accurate and capable full-charge bookkeeper?  Do you like the aspects of multi-tasking? If you are looking for a place to work in a small and dynamic team environment, sales-driven organization, but enjoy your own private office with responsibility for individual performance, this position awaits your math brain. We are in search of a Payroll Specialist/Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our Company. Our payroll system interfaces with ADP and invoicing is a hybrid windows-based system specific to the temporary help industry. The General Ledger is QuickBooks and ties to both. Our outside CPA firm reviews, audits and does annual tax preparation.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Must have 3-5 years solid payroll processing experience for weekly payroll. Must understand how to track, process and reconcile benefits, garnishments, etc. Must have solid, current G/L working experience. Must have solid, current working experience with client/server accounting applications in a networked environment. Must have solid, current working experience with Excel spreadsheets, MS-Word, generating reports, data manipulation between applications. Preference given to the following current experience: - Quickbooks G/L experience - ADP payroll processing - weekly payroll processing of 100+ employees.
