Payroll Supervisor

Supervises the weekly payroll functions for about 400 employees at Radius Specailty Hospital's Boston and Quincy location.   Responsible for accumulating and processing payroll data using the ADP time and attendance and payroll system. Ensures that all daily, weekly and monthly payroll processes are performed correctly and timely and no backlogs in activities exist. Review and understand the accounting needs and business aspects of the Hospital’s benefit programs and suggest strategies to effectively implement these requirements into the payroll process. Coordinate with the software vendor or Information Systems Department to resolve any systems issues included in day-to-day department operations.

Qualifications:


·  Three to five years job experience in relevant disciplines or alternately a 2-year business degree with one to two years’ relevant experience.

·  Good verbal and written communication skills.

·  Understand and interpret business data received for payment and understand the basic requirements of payroll processing including information in union contracts.

·  Ability to organize accounting information in a concise manner.

·  Management skills necessary to network, develop and supervise the work of others and delegate effectively.

·  Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
