We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for our North Dallas Company.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Insurance/Risk Management, this Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the Risk department of IESC, the shared services group for the largest electrical & datacom parts distributor in the U.S. This person will be responsible for a number of reporting deliverables to Management and shareholders including the operations and accounting departments. A strong background in accounting/finance is essential.

ResponsibilitiesCollections, correlation and communication of data: Assist in the preparation of overall insurance budget and premium allocations for all IESC entities Develop and distribute loss allocation reports to accounting department(s); acting as the primary liasion to these departments Compile all underwriting information for policy renewals and new lines of insurance Utilize risk management databases to create meaningful reports to assist in loss mitigation and claims management efforts. Assist in maintaining and updating risk management data. Assist and compile information for internal audits as required Provide data to our actuary as needed to support annual evaluations Conduct regular internal actuarial analysis of losses Analyze property and casualty  loss information, troubleshoot, and communicate opportunities for risk minimization to the Claims Managers and Safety/ LP Managers Certificates of Insurance requests and tracking Attend appropriate special training classes to maintain expertise in this specialization area Assist in supporting any/all other areas of the Company's Risk management operations as necessary

Requirements:Bachelor's degree

Experience:2-4 years of accounting/finance experience required Experience analyzing large data sets required Exposure to needs of maintaining commercial insurance accounts is desired

Skills:Writing skills to summarize analytical information for end users Microsoft Excel ( expert level), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access Multi-task/ project management skills Problem identification and resolution skills Analytical skills and financial sense
