Pricing Analyst

Position:  Pricing Analyst

 

Position Overview: The Pricing Analyst is heavily involved with the acquisition of life insurance policies for our funders.  We have designed a program that allows for placement and advancement opportunities commensurate with your ability to do the job.

 

Essential Job Functions: Using Excel and proprietary valuation and pricing software, evaluate and analyze life insurance illustrations. Evaluate/obtain underwriting information on prospective life policies being considered for purchase. Assist in the determination of prices used in acquiring life insurance policies.  Responsible for the timely execution of the bid management process, which includes pricing, funder submission and bid receipt. Responsible for the understanding and effective operation of company selected software and databases.  Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of life insurance policy types, policy riders and illustrations.

 

Required Qualifications:

·  Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science or Business

·  Strong math and analytical skills

·  Highly proficient in Microsoft office applications, primarily Excel

·  Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

·  Desire to perform in a team-oriented environment

·  Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Life insurance experience a plus

·  Finance/Accounting skills a plus

·  Actuarial/Statistical experience a plus

·  Programming skills a plus
