CHENEGA CORPORATION - Service CenterJob Description Job Title: COST/PRICING ANALYSTReports To: Assistant Director, Service CenterFLSA Status FLSA Regular Full-time ExemptWork Location: Service Center, Sterling, VASummaryPrepare Cost Proposals in the Federal Marketplace, including cost narrative and financial spreadsheets. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Expert proficiency in MS Excel; • Prior cost proposal hands-on experience, including:o Developing proposal outlines, o Ensuring compliance with the solicitation requirements, o Providing version control of proposal-related documents,o Writing cost narratives, o Scheduling and tracking cost proposal development milestones, and o Creating cost proposal data and spreadsheets;• Knowledge of Service Contract Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other Government-related applicable standards and regulations; • Knowledge of market and competition;Education and/or Experience:B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related field; and a minimum of 5 years related experience.Language Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Government regulations. Ability to write cost narratives, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to create, implement, and verify formulas in Excel spreadsheets.Reasoning Ability:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Valid driver’s license.Other Skills and Abilities:Must have excellent organization skills. Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion. Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding work environment with flexibility. Must possess the ability to communicate ideas effectively with internal customers and external teaming partners.
