Within delegated commitment level, acts as an authorized agent of the company with the responsibility to commit company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services. Oversees supplier related activities. With general direction, performs the following tasks with full competency: Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Document procurement decisions, creates contract correspondence, and administers contract changes between The Company and suppliers. Ensures compliance with all relevant Boeing pr9ocedures and contract requirements. Integrates activities with internal and external customers and suppliers to fulfill contract requirements and reconcile contract issues. Manages contract terminations and closeouts. Ensures overall adequacy, accuracy and soundness of judgment for all work performed. Provides guidance to less experienced employees. Wither general direction, performs the following tasks with full competency: Defines performance expectations and establishes relevant metrics. Gathers and evaluates performance data. Meets with suppliers and Boeing partners and discuss performance-related issues. Develops improvement plans and monitors progress. Monitors supplier capability, capacity and business health. Leads regular supplier performance reviews. Builds successful supplier relationships. Technical Contract Structure and Terms Knowledge of contract structure and terminology relat4ed to specified work. Procurement Processes Knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-Procurement processes (e.g. engineering, business, operations, logistics). Product Support Supply Chain Knowledge of the unique aspects of inventory planning and control processes (e.g. lot sizes, work in process (WIP), inventory burndown,, out of production, Kanban, Just in Time(JIT), kitting, point of use (POU), inventory turn rate) to support planned and unplanned requirements. Proposal Processes knowledge of government, company and local policies, procedures and regulations (e.g., estimating system manual, FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR, Procurement integrity, Export Compliance) relating to the development of
