Outstanding opportunity available for a Product Underwriter/Analyst based in Brooklyn, Ohio.Essential Job Functions: - Review all weekly/monthly Merchant Independent Sales Organization (ISO) reports and create, communicate and analyze the performance of each Merchant ISO while trending the established performance metrics - Audit the underwriting process of each Merchant ISO and document findings by selecting a random sample of new merchants boarded by each Merchant ISO and comparing the information reviewed with KeyBank's Merchant ISO Policy and Procedure documents to ensure our underwriting requirements have been adhered to by each Merchant ISO - Review underwriting exception requests from merchants and bring to the Merchant ISO review committee as necessary - Prepare monthly Merchant ISO revenue spreadsheets from monthly settlement statements and distribute - Prepare the CAP for each Merchant ISO annually with input from both the LOB and Finance Partners as detailed in the current Credit Policy which requires review of all relevant financial and non-financial data necessary to complete the analysis and provide the foundations for a sound credit decision while working closely with our credit partners - Perform underwriting for new Specialty Card Clients/Program Managers and new Merchant Independent Sales Organizations - Specialty Card and Merchant ISO Invoicing - Perform Access Control on behalf of all associated LOBs which requires an understanding of business process/functions that are automated through the application or technology Marginal Job Functions: - Proactively communicate audit concerns to appropriate team members - Review Merchant ISO month end settlement statements for reasonableness and maintain files - Perform C-CAP testing for all associated LOBs - Develops, implements and ensures adherence to access provisioning, decision criteria and overall access controls - Performs periodic review of access to all applications or technology Required Skills: - Bachelors degree in accounting or finance - Minimum 3 years experience with underwriting, financial analysis or audit - Basic understanding of bank regulatory requirements - Strong financial and analytic acumen - Strong technical skills - Ability to multi-task efficiently - Exceptional organizational skills - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize duties as well as the ability to work in a team environment - Ability to quickly grasp a broad range of concepts - Ability to recommend efficient and effective processes to manage risk and test the effectiveness of internal controls as necessary Preferred Skills - Understanding of all Access Control requirements and the ability to implement appropriate access control requirements - Knowledge of the payments processing business both on the acquirer and issuer sides of the business Life at Key is exciting, challenging, and rewarding.
