Citi’s internal audit division provides independent assessments of the company’s risk and control environment. Our findings and recommendations influence business management processes worldwide and senior management decision making around the world.  Essential position responsibilities for a Program Director with Audit and Risk Review are as follows: Leading a team of 7 through the identification and analysis of key risk and control issues in Citi’s US consumer Banking Real Estate and Student Lending Segments.  Interfacing with senior business management. Leading, energizing and developing a team of audit professionals. Writing probing reports, clearly articulating issues and recommendations that are creative and pragmatic solutions for risk and control problems. Working with businesses to track solutions.  Advancing the team’s, and the broader division’s, appreciation for risks.  Developing increasingly sophisticated approaches and toolsets to identifying risk. Proactively advancing integrated auditing concepts and use of technology. Developing effective senior line management relationships and a strong understanding of the businesses. Participating in major business initiatives and pro-actively advising and assisting the business on change initiatives. Recruiting staff, developing talent and building an effective team. Demonstrated success in the field of risk identification and control analysis. Superior writing and verbal communication skills. Three to five years experience managing staff. High energy, tech savvy, and professional composure. Comprehensive knowledge of audit/risk assessments of Consumer Credit Operations and Capital markets business functions. Comprehensive knowledge of audit/risk assessments of Consumer Mortgage Operations and Legal Regulatory Requirements. Professional composure.  Experience in hiring, staffing and developing direct reports.  BA/BS or equivalent.  Professional certification preferred.
