Exterran is seeking a Project Accountant for our Houston, TX location.

Primary Responsibilities and Assignments
• This role will report on EPC projects ranging from$5MM to $250MM involving multiple product lines depending on complexity.
• Provide financial support to Project Managers with analysis and forecasting project cost weekly, monthly, quarterly and upon completion.
• Provide financial/project support to international and cross-functional project teams.
• Ensure GAAP/company compliance, change order/claims management, budgeting/planning, forcasting and analysis.
• Communicate with operations to research variances on expected job costs versus actual and other special projects as needed.
 
 
Education and Certification
Required:
• BS degree in Finance or Accounting

Desired:
• CPA a +
• Oracle or ERP system experience


Specific Work Background/ Experience
Required:
• 5+ years experience in related field or construction/manufacturing
• Extensive Excel experience
• Oracle or ERP system experience

Desired:
• Excellent analytical skills
• Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize
• Strong comuniation skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and a self starter
