Provide support to the Project Manager in monitoring the financial performance of the project. Coordinate administrative aspects of projects, which may include such areas as: budgeting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, reporting, cash management and participates in monthly proactive project reviews. Professional position that is responsible for financial and contract administration duties in support of HNTB project management practices outline in HNTB Redbook. Has limited decision making ability and routine decisions are based on the training and guidelines they receive from the Project Manager and/or Business Manager. Most issues and decisions are received by Project Manager or the Business Manager. Interact with PM?s in a proactive manner to determine what routine issues affecting project management need to be addressed (i.e., budgeting, job costs, contracting). Complete CBS PMA required documentation and submits paperwork to open project numbers and set up marketing budgets. Under the direction of the Project Manager, prepare standard sub-consultant, inter office and inter-company agreements using standard templates.Perform ongoing contract compliance, billable vs. non-billable charges to the client, expense reports, per diem regulations by office, federal and state agencies, etc. Assist in monitoring and reporting, job budgets and costs, labor charges, expense detail, work plans.Responsible for earnings review and making necessary corrections to accurately report earnings by the established deadline.Ensures financial corrective measures take place in a timely manner (labor corrections, AP adjustments). Assist in tracking, monitoring and reporting on subconsultant agreements, insurance, small business reporting information or other items required by contract. Expected to follow project administration standards and procedures as discussed/described in training and HNTB project management guidelines. Ensure accuracy of monthly client billing which requires coordination with SSO/division office, subconsultants, and PM?s. Perform activities such as verification that attachments/documentation supports the submittal, gather progress reports from the Project Manager, confirm that the subconsultants have not exceeded their respective contract maximums.On a monthly basis monitor JPI reporting to meet offices deadlines, notify PM?s or Business Manager if reporting is not meeting guidelines.Answer and respond to PM?s questions in a timely manner on general matters which may include basic training of PM?s on HNTB systems.QualificationsBachelor?s degree in finance, accounting or business preferred.
