Associate-Business Background
Position:
alliantgroup is currently in search of Associates preferably with an accounting, finance or entrepreneurial background to qualify and quantify its client’s various tax incentives.
Responsibilities:
• Communicating with clients via telephone or during face-to-face meetings in order to obtain the necessary information to qualify and quantify the applicable tax incentives.
• Formulating extensive technical reports to qualify the various tax incentives.
• Calculating the identified tax incentives using alliantgroup’s financial models.
• Interacting with designers and scientists from a wide array of disciplines.
• Learning and utilizing tax laws and business principles.
• Reviewing and discussing the technical aspects of client research and development efforts and understanding their business.
• Additional responsibilities, as required.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or entrepreneurial discipline.
• 2+ years experience –preferably in related field.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Self-motivated; Hard-working; Great attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Available for minimum travel.
