OBJECTIVES: Candidate will perform on-site credit balance reviews at hospitals and billing offices, recovering overpayments for health plan clients and analyzing and resolving credit balances for providers.Build and maintain business relationship with hospital business office staff. Identify barriers to success and develop strategy to overcome these barriers. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional organizational skills, the ability to build and maintain business relationships, strong knowledge of medical billing and claims processing and a strong desire for success.

REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (Business, Liberal Arts). Candidate will have some client service experience / customer contact experience. 1-2 years of experience working with Managed Care contracts and/or 1-2 years of experience working in a medical office or hospital required. Strong computer/data entry skills. Strong interpersonal skills capable of maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships. Understands the day to day operations related to the application, balancing, and logging of payments and reimbursement transactions.Willingness to travel locally.
