Fantastic Opportunities...Duties will include, But Not limited To:

Corporate income taxesReview pro formas and prepare complex federal corporate income tax returns Assist/prepare federal consolidated return Review single state returns and prepare complex state income and franchise tax returns along with estimated payments for assigned subsidiaries Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual FAS 109 income tax provision calculations, account reconciliations, and effective tax rate Perform tax research as necessary in response to internal or external request

AuditsManage small state tax audits independently and assist with complex audits Assist with federal tax audit

OtherProject lead responsible for planning and implementation of special projects involving research, analysis and communication with other groups Recommend strategies for minimizing tax liability Research various tax issues Ability to interact professionally with taxing authorities Ability to build professional relationships within the company and assist with identifying and revolving tax issues Possesses excellent time management skills to complete all responsibilities in accordance with established deadlines Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to clearly and concisely explain tecnical information to all levels with the company through both written and verbal communications Prepare responses to regulatory notices

QualificationsBachlors in Accounting; CPA or eligible preferred. Minimum of 5+ solid years experience in Federal and State compliance primarily in corporate tax (consolidated and multi-state returns). Partnership experience a plus. Excellent communication skills-verbal and written. Strong computer experience including MS Office, especially Excel. Ability to push technolgy to gain compliance efficiencies. Experience with databases manipulating large volumes of data (i.e Access, Monarch) a plus. Experience with Corp Tax preferred.
