RETAIL AUDITOR - ENTRY LEVEL

One of the fastest retail organizations within the US is in search of a Retail Auditor. The right person will enjoy interacting with people and will have a minimum of one-year experience in the retail field audits or related service industries.

This position will be responsible for the auditing of the retail locations throughout the Midwest but in particular the State of Indiana. This person will need to be detail orientated and focused on the bottom line. This position will require 50%-75% travel.

 

Duties:

· Review of Internal Controls and Policy Adherence

· Conducts Inventory/merchandise audits by scanning bar codes to identify missing inventory.

· Randomly tests to verify quality inventory.

· Completes the Audit Report for each audit

· Communicates audit performance to appropriate operation supervisors

· Creates Audit Action Plan when audit results require.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required

 

Ability to prioritize

 

Proven problem solving experience

 

Excellent communication skills

 

Ability to travel as needed
