Real Estate Accounting Business systems Analyst

Major Duties and Functions Include: Participates in the development of systems requirements. Functional Responsibilities: Participates in developing functional requirements, testing, training, and implementation of applications. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs. Collects and defines requirements, translates into functional design documents and participates in the technical design, test planning and user documentation processes. Participates in software design, prototyping, construction, and testing of new or enhanced applications. Works with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications. Analyzes and re-engineers business processes. Assists in training users on new or enhanced applications. What You Need to Succeed: Must have Knowledge of Commercial Mortgage or Real Estate Equity Investments and Accounting. Knowledge of applications supporting the Real Estate Accounting function including: Peoplesoft General Ledger, ReconPlus, Regulatory Reporting, Asset Management. Experience utilizing Microsoft office tools specifically: Excel, Access, Word, Microsoft Project, Powerpoint. Ability to handle multi-faceted and complex assignments simultaneously. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Prior experience working in the area of business systems analysis. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements. Ability to work well within project teams and where project teams are comprised of members from different departments, looking to satisfy multiple/diverse requirements. Nice to haves: Knowledge and experience with testing tools and system development testing methodology. Working knowledge of SQL Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
