Regional Accounting Controller

Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  L1-30010-508980 Location:  New Haven, CT 06493 Job Status:  Full Time, Employee Global, publicly held, industry leader poised for continuous growth and prosperity seeks a dynamic, energetic, and independent Regional Accounting Controller.  • Monitor and assist the monthly closing process and assist in providing accurate statements for the business units in the region. • Provide accounting support to all business unit locations in the region. • Assist in the monthly financial statement review and monthly variation analysis. •  Prepare supporting schedules for 10-Q's and 10-K. •  Support the annual audit, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and provide tax support for income tax return requirements. •  Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for individual business units as required. •  Facilitate physical inventories and monitor inventory transactions. •  Assist in the preparation of monthly P&L and cash flow forecasts. •  Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and supporting schedules. • Facilitate the training and development of the facility accounting function and staff.Candidates must have BS or MBA in Accounting, an active CPA, a minimum 8 years related experience coupled with proficiency in Excel and Word, Peoplesoft a plus.  Travel of 25% is required with this position, with the initial 6 months more in line with 50%.
