We are currently seeking a Reimbursement Collector for our White Plains, NY location!

 

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:

1.  Associate Degree or Medical Billing Certificate Program

2.  2+ years experience in Medical billing or Collections

3.  Familiarity with private insurance, reimbursement and medical terminology.

4.  Excellent verbal, written, communication and computer skills.

 

Primary Functions:

 

1.  As the Reimbursement Collector you will be primarily responsible for ensuring timely payment from managed care payers, 

2.  Responsible for billing and collections of accounts receivables,

3.  Evaluate and process explanation of benefits from managed care payers,

4.  Process and review remittance advise from primary and secondary insurance companies,

5.  Provide timely and accurate follow-up to telephone inquiries,

6.  Collection and follow-up for balance due from customers,

7.  Fast paced environment handling multiple demands,

8.  Perform special projects on an as needed basis for management,
