Reporting and Analytic Engineer

 Mylan is a world leader in providing consumers with an extensive line of high quality, affordable and effective pharmaceutical products in a variety of traditional and innovative dosage forms. Mylan Laboratories Inc., located in Canonsburg, PA currently has an opening for a Reporting and Analytics Engineer.  Mylan is proud to have its corporate headquarters in Canonsburg, located just south of Pittsburgh, America’s most livable city.   This exciting position in our Corporate Business Systems department is responsible for designing, developing and implementing Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management tools.  This person will also be responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing and development of reports and analytic tools.   Candidates must possess knowledge of computerized accounting systems and OLAP reporting tools.  Must have knowledge of accounting principles and understand financial reports.  The successful candidate will also possess knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies and a willingness and ability to cross-train.  Candidates should have a high level of analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.  As well as, the ability to provide technical solutions to a wide variety of difficult problems where solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organizational objectives.  A strong knowledge of Excel, MS Project, Windows 2000/XP, Office XP including Access, HTML/WEB design tools, OLAP reporting environment and Lotus Notes. Experience in Hyperion, OutlookSoft, or other Business Intelligence tools required.  Experience in Oracle, Apache Tomcat, BEA Weblogic service, Windows Service 2003 and XP are also preferred.   Candidates must possess a BS degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience.
