Resource Manager

Responsibilities: Manage the internal scheduling of all CORPTAX Impmentation and Professional Services engagements.Work with the leaders and employees of both departments to ensure effective communication and scheduling of resources.Lead weekly scheduling calls, take meeting minutes, and drive meetings to conclusion.Be fluent in Enterprise Project Manager and act as the ‘go to’ person with the company for EPM questions.Create management reports using EPM and My.corptax.com providing insight and analysis into scheduling issues.Pro-actively identify open scheduling issues – under/over schedule, schedule slippage, resource constraints, etc – and inform the appropriate manager.Create alerting process whereby over/under allocation on engagements can be identified early on in the start of the engagement process.Ensure matrix of required implementation skills is kept up to date and managed.

Education: College degree preferred

 

Certification: PMP preferred

 

Experience: 5 + years of office scheduling/administrative work using software programs and scheduling high valued consultants.1+ year of MS project experience desiredFluent in MS Office applicationsExcellent oral, written and teaming skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively manage personal time in an unstructured environment as a self-motivator.Experience effectively managing conflicting demands and resources and driving towards optimizing a solution.Ability to lead weekly scheduling calls, keep meeting minutes of actions, prioritize activities, and follow-up on outstanding issues.Excellent documentation skills required.Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment with associated conflicting/competing requests for resources.
