Retirement Plan Manager

Schechter Dokken Kanter, a 65 person CPA firm located downtown Minneapolis, is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing Employee Benefits Department.  This position supports the department’s work of administrating and consulting on a variety of qualified retirement plans. Our Employee Benefits Department is responsible for creating plans and providing administrative services for 401(k) Plans, Safe Harbor 401(k) Plans, Profit Sharing Plans, Money Purchase Pension Plans, ESOP’s and Defined Benefit Plans. 

 

What you’ll do every day…Preparation and review of qualified plan documentsCompliance testing and reportingPlan design consulting with clientsManage client accounts and interactionsProactive client education and communicationConsult with clients on regulatory and compliance issuesResearch regulatory and compliance issues

What you bring to the table…

4-6 years of defined contribution 401(k) administration required.  Strong knowledge of plan design, compliance issues, and experience with pension software.  BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Sungard Relius a bonus.
